Atmawidjaja who also acts as the Ministry\u2019s Spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>According to Endra, Banda Aceh-Sigli toll road section three has met the feasibility requirements for technical, administrative, and toll operation system functions, enabling it for operation.<\/p>\n<p>The function feasibility test was carried out from 16 to 18 December 2020 and the segment was utilized as a functional lane at the end of last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis segment is part of the Trans-Sumatra backbone located in the northernmost part (of the Sumatra island). It is also the primary segment in the logistic system that connects Banda Aceh and Medan,\u201d he said, while expressing hope that the completed segment is expected to boost economic recovery in Aceh province, especially on the corridor of Banda Aceh-Sigli and vice versa.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, there are five sections of Banda Aceh-Sigli toll road construction, namely Padang Tiji-Seulimeum (25 kilometers), Seulimeum-Jantho (6 kilometers), Jantho-Indrapuri (16 kilometers), Indrapuri-Blang Bintang (14 kilometers), and Blang Bintang-Kuto Baro (8 kilometers).<\/p>\n<p>Banda Aceh-Sigli toll road, a segment of Trans-Sumatra toll road, is a National Strategic Project.
