Honorable Governor of <\/span><\/span>Banten<\/span><\/span> Province, Mayor of South Tangerang City, Mayor of Tangerang City, Head of Regional Military Command, Head of Regional Police<\/span><\/span>;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ladies and Gentlemen,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Alhamdulillah<\/i>, <\/span><\/span>this morning <\/span><\/span>Serpong-<\/span><\/span>Pamulang<\/span><\/span> section of <\/span><\/span>Serpong-Cinere<\/span><\/span> Toll Road <\/span><\/span>spanning<\/span><\/span>10<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>1 kilometers and <\/span><\/span>Cengkareng<\/span><\/span> \u2013 <\/span><\/span>Batuceper<\/span><\/span> \u2013 <\/span><\/span>Kunciran<\/span><\/span> Toll Road <\/span><\/span>spanning 14<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>19 kilometers have been completed and can <\/span><\/span>start operation<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These toll roads are part of Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) <\/span><\/span>II<\/span><\/span> Toll Road to <\/span><\/span>complete <\/span><\/span>toll road structure in Greater <\/span><\/span>Jakarta<\/span><\/span> (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi<\/span><\/span>) <\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span>rea<\/span><\/span> and also <\/span><\/span>to complete <\/span><\/span>the west side<\/span><\/span> of <\/span><\/span>JORR II Toll Road<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span><\/span>people <\/span><\/span>of<\/span><\/span> Tangerang and South Tangerang <\/span><\/span>eagerly await the <\/span><\/span>operation of these toll road<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>, because these toll roads can be alternative <\/span><\/span>roads <\/span><\/span>for people, especially in West Java and south<\/span><\/span>ern<\/span><\/span> side of Jakarta to <\/span><\/span>go<\/span><\/span> to <\/span><\/span>the <\/span><\/span>Soekarno<\/span><\/span> Hatta International airport.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These toll roads will <\/span><\/span>improve<\/span><\/span> people\u2019s<\/span><\/span> mobility, <\/span><\/span>reduce traffic<\/span><\/span>\u00a0congestion in Jakarta, <\/span><\/span>improve<\/span><\/span> commuter<\/span><\/span>\u2019s<\/span><\/span> mobility, both in Jakarta and <\/span><\/span>its buffer<\/span><\/span> cities, and also facilitate <\/span><\/span>a smooth <\/span><\/span>goods <\/span><\/span>distribution to various areas so that <\/span><\/span>the<\/span><\/span> travel <\/span><\/span>time <\/span><\/span>can be reduced and of course can lower<\/span><\/span> the logistics costs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ladies and Gentlemen,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These toll roads <\/span><\/span>do <\/span><\/span>not only connect <\/span><\/span>the<\/span><\/span> regions but also can <\/span><\/span>increase <\/span><\/span>regional competitive<\/span><\/span>ness<\/span><\/span>, rebuild economy in the region, boost the development of new economic centers, and develop <\/span><\/span>productive economic growth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I order the Regional Government to make this infrastructure as one of regional advantage<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span> and <\/span><\/span>as <\/span><\/span>an important <\/span><\/span>capital to attract<\/span><\/span>\u00a0investment.<\/span><\/span> M<\/span><\/span>ore <\/span><\/span>investment<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span> mean <\/span><\/span>more new businesses <\/span><\/span>to be<\/span><\/span> developed and it will also create more jobs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Last but not least, <\/span><\/span>concerning<\/span><\/span> yesterday afternoon\u2019s terrorist attack at <\/span><\/span>the <\/span><\/span>Police Headquarter<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span>I<\/span><\/span> call on the<\/span><\/span> people <\/span><\/span>of Indonesia<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to stay calm but also <\/span><\/span>be <\/span><\/span>aware and keep maintaining our unity. We are all united against terrorism.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I also have ordered Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), <\/span><\/span>Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), and Chief of the State Intelligence Agency <\/span><\/span>(BIN) <\/span><\/span>to raise awareness. I underline once again, there is no place for terrorism in Indonesia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
