(Photo by: PR of Cabinet Secretariat\/Agung)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo has once again ordered Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to optimize the implementation of micro-scale public activity restriction (PPKM) policy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe President\u2019s directives were stressed on the implementation of health protocols. He assigned the TNI Commander and Polri Chief to ensure that the implementation of micro-scale PPKM is according to plan,\u201d Minister of Health Budi Gunadi told the press after a limited meeting on COVID-19 pandemic management, Monday (14\/06) at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>According to Budi, the President stressed that health protocols must be observed with discipline in accordance with the prevailing micro-scale PPKM regulations based on the risk zone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause, indeed, there are many regulations, including for red zone, orange zone, yellow zone, but it takes discipline to implement it on the ground,\u201d he said, adding that the President also revealed COVID-19 transmission in family clusters due to <em>mudik <\/em>(annual exodus around the time of Islamic holiday Eid al-Fitr), tourism, and dining, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The President has also ordered to pay attention to three activities that are highly likely to make people take off their mask, and once again, to implement health protocols more strictly for activities such as long holidays, tourism activities that cause crowds, and communal dining activities, Budi added.<\/p>\n<p>Closing his press statement, Budi also stressed that in addition to President Jokowi\u2019s directives, Vice President Ma\u2019ruf Amin also underscored the importance of 3T (testing, tracing, and treatment) measures to curb the COVID-19 transmission rate. <strong>(MAY\/UN) (DH\/MUR)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo has once again ordered Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to optimize the implementation of micro-scale public activity restriction (PPKM) policy. \u201cThe President\u2019s directives were stressed on the implementation of health protocols.
