Source: YouTube of Presidential Secretariat.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Indonesia on Saturday (11\/09) received 500,000 doses of Janssen (Johnson &amp; Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is the third time Indonesia receive vaccine from the Netherlands. Previously, Indonesia had received 657,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from the Netherlands as part of a dose-sharing commitment from the Netherlands,&#8221; Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi said in a press conference welcoming the vaccine arrival.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On behalf of the Indonesian Government, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the Dutch Government for their solidarity and friendship,&#8221; Retno said.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Indonesia Lambert Grijns said that the Netherlands would continue to deliver vaccines\u00a0to Indonesia in several batches with a total of approximately three million doses. The Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, he added, is very pleased to be able to support Indonesia in its efforts to swiftly provide vaccination for the people.<\/p>\n<p>Grinjs said that the Netherlands also sent personal protective equipment (PPE) to Indonesia.
