{"id":228170,"date":"2021-09-25T16:58:29","date_gmt":"2021-09-25T09:58:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/?p=228170"},"modified":"2021-09-27T17:01:46","modified_gmt":"2021-09-27T10:01:46","slug":"govt-to-try-out-pedulilindungi-app-at-six-traditional-markets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/en\/govt-to-try-out-pedulilindungi-app-at-six-traditional-markets\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov\u2019t to Try Out PeduliLindungi App at Six Traditional Markets"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_228171\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-228171\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-228171\" src=\"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mendag-300x209.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mendag-300x209.png 300w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mendag-600x417.png 600w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mendag-661x460.png 661w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mendag-331x230.png 331w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mendag.png 752w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-228171\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi (Photo: PR of Cabinet Secretariat\/Rahmat)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi has ensured that traditional markets can provide a sense of comfort and security to visitors amid COVID-19 in order to revive the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, his Ministry, Lutfi added, will ensure the enforcement of health protocols trial via PeduliLindungi application at traditional markets across the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will try out the app at several traditional markets by considering vaccination rate of merchants and management staff of the markets,\u201d Lutfi said during inspection in Badung Market in the Bali provincial capital of Denpasar, Saturday (25\/09).<\/p>\n<p>According to Lutfi, a number of factors should be considered upon the trial of the application at traditional markets, including all merchants and management staff of the traditional market that must be fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the market has to enforce health protocols as recommended by Ministry of Trade.<\/p>\n<p>The traditional market must also have controlled entrance and exit access, standard operational procedure (SOP) in implementing health protocols, and provide human resources in the implementation of PeduliLindungi application.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeduliLindungi SOP is essential for us to live amid COVID-19 since the pandemic is not over yet in a short time and economic activities should be reactivated,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the suggestion proposed by the Association of Indonesian Market Management (Asparindo), PeduliLindungi application will be tried at six markets, including Mayestik Market (Jakarta), Blok M Market (Jakarta), Baltos Market (Bandung), Modern Market of BSD (South Tangerang), Modern Market 8 Alam Sutera (Tangerang), dan Wonodri Market (Semarang). Those six markets have received QR Code from Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n<p>Lutfi also emphasized that the use of PeduliLindungi Application at traditional markets depends on the awareness and active role of the communities in controlling COVID-19, as well as organized human resources of traditional market management, especially in dissemination, checking, and monitoring of the implementation of PeduliLindungi application.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, he added, it is also important to provide facilities and infrastructure for preventing the spread of COVID-19 at traditional markets, such as facilities for washing hands and the provision of hand sanitizers and masks.<\/p>\n<p>Based on a survey conducted by Ministry of Trade, vaccination rate among market merchants nationally has reached 62 percent, while, at Badung Market, vaccination rate of the merchants and the management staff has reached 100 percent with the index score of COVID-19 control at 69.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe implementation of PeduliLindungi application and 100 percent rate of vaccination for the merchants and the management staff are expected to gain trust from the communities and to ensure security for consumers, and to increase the revenue of the merchants,\u201d Lutfi said. <strong>(PR of Ministry of Trade\/UN) (AW\/EP)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi has ensured that traditional markets can provide a sense of comfort and security to visitors amid COVID-19 in order to revive the economy.
