President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Thursday (02\/12) took his free time to play badminton with national badminton athletes after watching the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC).<\/p>\n

In the training court, President Jokowi paired up with men’s singles athlete Jonathan Christie against Hendra Setiawan and Chairperson of the Indonesian Badminton Federation (PBSI) Agung Firman Sampurna.<\/p>\n

After the match, Hendra Setiawan expressed his admiration for the President.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. President played badminton quite well,\u201d Hendra said, adding that the match versus President Jokowi is more difficult than against the current world’s top duo, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo\/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon or \u201cthe Minions\u201d.<\/p>\n

In addition, Hendra Setiawan\u2014the world\u2019s second-best duo with Mohammad Ahsan\u2014also prays for the President\u2019s health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n
