President Jokowi<\/p><\/div>\n

In a bid to boost the people\u2019s immunity following the mutated COVID-19 strain, the Government has announced it will carry out the third dose of vaccination on January 12, 2022 by prioritizing the elderly and the vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have decided to provide the third dose free of charge to all Indonesians since people’s safety is crucial,\u201d President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo said in a press statement at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (01\/11).<\/p>\n

The recipients of booster vaccine, the President continued, are those with a minimum spacing of six months after a full dose of vaccination.<\/p>\n

The Head of State also urged the people to remain disciplined in observing health protocols despite having been vaccinated.<\/p>\n
