Ahead of MotoGP Mandalika 2022, President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Thursday (01\/13) inspected the facilities at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport in West Nusa Tenggara province, where the international motorcycle racing event is set to be held this year.<\/p>\n

The airport, \u00a0which is also known as Lombok International Airport, will be used as a point of entry to the province for the participants and visitors.<\/p>\n

The facilities the President inspected include temperature and electronic health alert card (e-HAC) checkpoint, immigration checkpoint, baggage claim area, and customs checkpoint.<\/p>\n

\u201cI directly checked arrivals at the airport and processes at the airport. I noticed that everything related to health protocols and PCR test verification and full vaccination verification already has a good sequence,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, MotoGP Mandalika Field Commander Hadi Tjahjanto stated that flight frequency from several cities to Lombok will be increased to support the entrance of visitors into Lombok.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor entrance, we will increase flight frequency, including [flights] from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, and Makassar. Therefore, I hope the guests can go to Mandalika Circuit to watch MotoGP 2022 with ease,\u201d Hadi remarked.
