(Photo by: Cabinet Secretariat PR)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Indonesian Government affirmed commitment to improve inclusiveness in employment for persons with disabilities by focusing on this issue in Indonesia\u2019s G20 presidency.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential Special Staffer Angkie Yudistia said that Indonesia will uphold \u2018inclusive labour market and affirmative decent jobs for persons with disabilities\u2019 as a main issue in its G20 presidency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is such a great breakthrough. Indonesia shows that no one will be left behind in programs of the Government, private sector, and other sectors,\u201d Angkie said during the G20 campaign adopting a theme \u2018Stimulating the Involvement of Persons with Disabilities towards Inclusiveness\u2019, in Jakarta, Wednesday (01\/26).<\/p>\n<p>She added that Indonesia will also encourage other G20 countries to formulate affirmative and inclusive policies for persons with disabilities to prepare them to participate in the job market and anticipate digital disruption and impacts of the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe G20\u2019s international cooperation will serve as a momentum to make a breakthrough. The presidency is our framework to set a benchmark with other G20 countries and learn from each other\u2019s experience in order to create the right inclusive ecosystem to meet the needs of the disabled,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>For that reason, she added, improving access to skills development is needed to materialize an inclusive employment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe access should not only balance the supply and demand of labour, but also be adjusted to the types of disabilities,\u201d she stated.\u00a0<strong>(PR of Ministry of Manpower\/UN)<\/strong> <strong>(RAS\/LW)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Indonesian Government affirmed commitment to improve inclusiveness in employment for persons with disabilities by focusing on this issue in Indonesia\u2019s G20 presidency.
