(Photo by: PR\/Jay)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The newly-inaugurated Head of National Food Agency, Arief Prasetyo Adi, expressed commitment to enhance synergy and collaboration with stakeholders in food sector.<\/p>\n<p>The statement was made after his inauguration as Head of the National Food Agency, led by President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo, at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday (02\/21).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will involve various parties such as related ministries (Ministry of State-owned Enterprises, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs), stakeholders in food sector, and associations of livestock farmers, fishermen, farmers. And, we will synergize all of them,\u201d Arief said.<\/p>\n<p>He also called on all sides to join hands to strengthen national food management.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will not work out if the Agency is the only one that makes efforts. Therefore, let us work together for the advancement of Indonesians,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, the newly-inaugurated Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas), Andi Widjajanto, also delivered his plan to accelerate transformation so that the Institute can take on geopolitical challenges of the 21<sup>st<\/sup> century, as instructed by President Jokowi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThus, Lemhanas can exercise its functions as an educational institution which creates future national leaders and serves as a place to provide strategic studies on local, regional, and global issues to the President.\u00a0 Lemhanas will also perform the function of strengthening national values,\u201d Andi stated.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say that he will do the utmost to actualize Lemhanas as a strategic studies institute that is relevant to the latest development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a strategic studies institute, it must be able to be relevant to adopt new methodical principles and knowledge.
