President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Friday (04\/01) received a courtesy call from Prime Minister of Malaysia <\/span>Dato\u2019 Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob<\/span> at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. It was the second courtesy call made by the Prime Minister after being inaugurated in August 2021. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Previously, the first courtesy call was held at Bogor Presidential Palace in West Java province in last November.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Upon the arrival at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta at 10.53 am Western Indonesian Time, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri was warmly welcomed by President Jokowi. Both the President and the Prime Minister were seen to introduce the delegates. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Joining President Jokowi during the event were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi<\/span>, <\/span>Cabinet Secretary <\/span>Pramono Anung,<\/span> Minister of Law and Human Rights <\/span>Yasonna Laoly, <\/span>and Minister of Manpower <\/span>Ida Fauziyah. While Prime Minister Ismail Sabri was accompanied by Malaysian Minister of Human Resource<\/span>s <\/span>Dato\u2019 Sri M. Saravanan, <\/span>Minister of Communications and Multimedia <\/span>Tan Sri Dato\u2019 Sari Panglima Annuar Haji Musa, <\/span>Minister of Rural Development <\/span>Dato\u2019 Seri Mahdzir bin Kholid, <\/span>and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs <\/span>Dato\u2019 Kamarudin Jaffar.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After introducing the delegates, President Jokowi and Prime Minister Ismail Sabri headed to a photo session at the Credential Room of Merdeka Palace and the signing of the presidential guest book. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Next, President Jokowi and Prime Minister Ismail Sabri held a veranda talk session at the palace. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister, the two countries were slated to sign an MoU on Manpower. The signing of the MoU was conducted by Malaysian Minister of Human Resources Dato\u2019 Sri M. Saravanan and Indonesian Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah.
