President Jokowi<\/p><\/div>\n

To ensure the national availability of cooking oil, the Government has announced cooking oil raw materials and cooking oil export ban.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday I led a meeting on the fulfillment of public basic needs, especially matters related to national availability of cooking oil. During the meeting, I decided that the Government will ban export of cooking oil raw materials and cooking oil starting Thursday, April 28, 2022 until further notice,\u201d President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo said in his virtual press statement, Friday (04\/22).<\/p>\n

The Head of State also stated that the Government will continue to monitor and evaluate the implementation of this policy to ensure the availability of affordable cooking oil.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will continue to monitor and evaluate the implementation of this policy so that there is abundant supply of cooking oil at an affordable price,\u201d he said, adding that following cooking oil price surge, the Government has previously decided to distribute cooking oil direct cash assistance (BLT) to the public at the beginning of this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe assistance will be given to 20.5 million families registered in the Non-cash Food Assistance (BPNT) list and Family Hope Program (PKH) and to 2.5 million street vendors who sell fried food,\u201d he said on April 1.<\/p>\n

For the record, the amount of assistance given is Rp100,000 per month and the Government will give the assistance for three months\u2014April, May, and June\u2014at once, which will be paid this month. (TGH\/UN) (DH\/EP)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
