{"id":245750,"date":"2022-04-24T21:19:07","date_gmt":"2022-04-24T14:19:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/?p=245750"},"modified":"2022-04-25T12:25:08","modified_gmt":"2022-04-25T05:25:08","slug":"energy-ministry-urges-local-governments-to-supervise-subsidized-lpg-use","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/en\/energy-ministry-urges-local-governments-to-supervise-subsidized-lpg-use\/","title":{"rendered":"Energy Ministry Urges Local Governments to Supervise Subsidized LPG Use"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_245694\" style=\"width: 1290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-245694\" class=\"wp-image-245694 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/GAS-3kg.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-245694\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo by: ESDM.go.id<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Friday (04\/22) issued Circular Number B-2461\/MG.05\/DJM\/2022 that urges local governments to take part in supervising the use of 3-kg Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) so that it remains right on target.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope for local government assistance to supervise the use of 3-kg LPG as intended in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations,\u201d the Ministry\u2019s Director General of Oil and Gas Tutuka Ariadji stated in the circular.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, the circular is addressed to 29 governors whose regions have undergo kerosene conversion to LPG, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Jambi, Bengkulu, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the provisions of <a href=\"https:\/\/jdih.setkab.go.id\/puu\/buka_puu\/16240\/Perpres%20Nomor%20104%20Tahun%202007.pdf\">Presidential Regulation Number 104 of 2007<\/a> on Supply, Distribution, and Pricing of 3-kg Liquefied Petroleum Gas, the supply and distribution of 3-kg LPG is only allotted for households and micro businesses.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the household group in question is consumers who have resident legality, who use kerosene for cooking within the household and who do not have a gas stove.
