In response to the latest news on last week\u2019s fatal police shootout at Indonesian National Police (Polri)\u2019s former Head of Internal Affairs Division (Propam) Insp. Gen. Ferdy Sambo in South Jakarta, President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Thursday (07\/21) stressed that the case must be thoroughly settled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have ordered [law enforcers] to carry out thorough probe, open it as it is, do not hide anything, and be transparent,\u201d President Jokowi said while answering reporter\u2019s question during his working visit at Rinca Island in West Manggarai regency, East Nusa Tenggara province.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Head of State underscored that thorough settlement of the case is vital to be done so that public trust in Polri can be continuously maintained.<\/p>\n

Earlier reported, the Polri\u2019s Head of Public Relations Division Insp. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo announced that CCTV at the residence of the Polri’s Former Head of Propam Insp. Gen. Ferdy Sambo has been found and is being examined by special force formed by National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
