President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Friday (08\/19) has extended his appreciation for the implementation of the 11th<\/sup> National Jamboree (Jamnas) 2022.<\/p>\n

“The event has diverse activities that can be participated by the scouts, including life skills, technology, nature, and culture. This is amazing,” the President said after visiting the penggalang<\/em> (second level in scout movement in Indonesia, consisting of youth aged 11-15 years old)scouts at Cibubur Scout’s Camping Ground Complex, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

This year’s National Jamboree adopts the theme of “Through the 11th<\/sup> Jamnas 2022, Let’s Become Cheerful, Dedicated, and Outstanding Scouts”.<\/p>\n

The President underscored that the activities in this year’s Jamboree are not only related to nature but also to the environment and the introduction of Indonesia’s intangible cultural heritage in the form of batik.<\/p>\n

“I saw various activities related to plastic waste in environmental issues, rock climbing, and batik-making,” he said.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, the President also expressed appreciation for the introduction of digital technology to the scouts through the digital village zone and cloud computing.<\/p>\n

“I also saw that children were introduced to technology, regarding how to create a website, how to get into e-sports,” he added.<\/p>\n

For the record, the 11th<\/sup> Jamnas 2022 has been held since last August 14, which also coincided with the 61st<\/sup> Scout Day.<\/p>\n
