(Photo by: PR of Ministry of Youth and Sports)<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the Kanjuruhan Stadium audit by the Reliability Technical Evaluation Team, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono announced seven recommendations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The team&#8217;s evaluation results have seven recommendations. Three of them are directly related to accidents. In total, we use seven recommendations for the criteria related to the task given by the President which is to rehab and restore the Kanjuruhan Stadium fully,&#8221; the Minister said after visiting the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang, East Java province with Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali, Thursday (10\/13).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The seven recommendations include grandstand stairs, stadium doors, emergency exits, lighting, toilet facilities, guardrails, and the perimeter of the main building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;First, regarding the grandstand stairs, especially the economy class, they don&#8217;t have stairs that directly head to the spectator seats. Second, there is no distance between the stadium door and the stairs that have steep elevations. Third, there is no emergency exit. There are only service doors that cannot be accessed by spectators in the grandstand,&#8221; he explained some of them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After receiving the recommendations, the Ministry will redesign the Stadium for total rehabilitation to avoid future tragedy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Basuki expressed hope that the redesigning process can be completed in 3 to 4 months and its construction can begin in 2023. In addition, a monument will also be built to commemorate the victims of the Kanjuruhan tragedy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the record, the evaluation was carried out by the Building Reliability Committee (KKBG), consisting of building structure experts, architecture experts, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) experts, fire risk mitigation experts, and government elements.
