President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Monday (12\/19) at the State Palace, Jakarta, handed over people’s business credit (KUR) cluster and channeled funds through the Revolving Fund Management Institution for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (LPDB KUMKM) to a number of representatives.<\/p>\n

The representatives of the KUR cluster beneficiaries in attendance were as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Chandra Sasminto (Distributor from BRI);<\/li>\n
  2. Dedi Sopian (Distributor from BNI);<\/li>\n
  3. Winarti (Distributor from Bank Mandiri);<\/li>\n
  4. Atang Kusnadi (Distributor from BSI);<\/li>\n
  5. H. Ibrahim (Distributor from BPD DKI); and<\/li>\n
  6. Zaenal Arifin (Distributor from BPD Jateng).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition, representatives of revolving fund distribution to cooperatives through LPDB KUMKM are as follows:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Al-itifaq Cooperative (West Java province);<\/li>\n
    2. Radha Krisna Cooperative (Bali province);<\/li>\n
    3. Artha Mitra Abadi Jaya Cooperative (Central Java province); and<\/li>\n
    4. Balo\u2019ta Cooperative (South Sulawesi province).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      In his remarks, the President said he was pleased with the cluster model for MSME players.<\/p>\n

      “I am pleased that an Islamic boarding school was able to reach several billion in horticulture sector. The vegetables have buyers. They are sold through businesses with large networks. So, it is clear. The off-taker is clear. The guarantor for the purchase is clear,” he said.<\/p>\n

      In addition, lending institutions such as banks and other non-bank institutions are guaranteed that the loaned KUR can be returned because the production process to product sales of the business players is also clear.<\/p>\n

      “This also applies to craftsmen. They produce. There is an off-taker as well as a guarantor for the buyer. There is also a showroom to sell the products. It means that from the production process to the consumers. The process is clear. So, those who lend the money, the bank as well as other non-bank institutions will have the confidence to get their money back,\u201d the President stated.<\/p>\n
