President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Ibu<\/em> Iriana Jokowi, watched the 2022 AFF (ASEAN Football Federation) Cup between the Indonesian and Thailand national teams at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Thursday (12\/29).<\/p>\n

The Indonesian national team gained one point after a draw match of 1-1.<\/p>\n

After the match, President Jokowi stated that the Indonesian national team has fought hard. He also expressed hope that the national team can advance to the final round of this year’s AFF Cup.<\/p>\n

“Excellent, excellent, excellent. All of our national team players have given their all and we have seen the result, 1-1. I think the most important thing is we can go through to the semifinals, to the finals, that is our hope,” said the President.<\/p>\n
