President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Monday (04\/03) witnessed Sunarto taking the oath of office as Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for Judicial Affairs for 2023-2027 period, at the State Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

The inauguration ceremony was commenced with the reverberation of national anthem \u201cIndonesia Raya<\/em>\u201d and followed by the recitation of Presidential Decree Number 12\/P of 2023 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court by Secretary to Minister of State Secretariat Setya Utama.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, Sunarto took oath of office before President Jokowi.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the name of Allah, I do solemnly swear that I will take responsibility as the Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for Judicial Affairs in the best and fairest way possible. Bear true faith and allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and execute all laws and regulations in an upright manner according to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia for the sake of the state and nation,\u201d the oath read.<\/p>\n
