President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo on April 6, 2023 signed Presidential Decree Number 7 of 2023 on Hajj Pilgrimage Cost (BPIH) for 1444 Hijri\/2023 AD, which consisted of Hajj Travel Costs and Value of Benefits.<\/p>\n

The Decree aims to implement the provision of Article 48 of Law Number 8 of 2019 on the Management of Hajj and Umrah and Article 11 paragraph (1) of Law Number 34 of 2014 on Hajj Financial Management.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Decree stipulates Hajj Pilgrimage Cost or BPIH for 1444 Hijri\/2023 AD, consisted of Hajj Travel Costs or Bipih and Value of Benefits,\u201d the Decree reads.<\/p>\n

The hajj travel costs for regular pilgrims for 1444 Hijri\/2023 AD are as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. Aceh embarkation point at Rp44,364,357.26<\/li>\n
  2. Medan embarkation point at Rp45,201,652.26<\/li>\n
  3. Batam embarkation point at Rp47,429,308.26<\/li>\n
  4. Padang embarkation point at Rp46,044,850.26<\/li>\n
  5. Palembang embarkation point at Rp48,005,008.26<\/li>\n
  6. Jakarta (Pondok Gede) embarkation point at Rp51,338,008.26<\/li>\n
  7. Jakarta (Bekasi) embarkation point at Rp51,338,008.26<\/li>\n
  8. Solo embarkation point at Rp49,893,981.26<\/li>\n
  9. Surabaya embarkation point at Rp55,928,458.26<\/li>\n
  10. Balikpapan embarkation point at Rp50,792,201.26<\/li>\n
  11. Banjarmasin embarkation point at Rp50,753,057.26<\/li>\n
  12. Makassar embarkation point at Rp52,182,703.26<\/li>\n
  13. Lombok embarkation point at Rp51,268,349.26<\/li>\n
  14. Kertajati embarkation point at Rp52,837,858.26<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    According to the Decree, the Bipih from the hajj pilgrims is allocated for hajj flight cost, living costs, and a portion of domestic pilgrimage service fees.<\/p>\n

    Furthermore, the regional hajj officers (PHD) and Hajj and Umrah Group Guidance Counselors (KBIHU) travel cost for 1444 Hijri\/2023 AD are as follows:<\/p>\n

    9. Surabaya embarkation point at Rp96,166,395.26<\/li>\n
    10. Balikpapan embarkation point at Rp91,030,138.26<\/li>\n
    11. Banjarmasin embarkation point at Rp90,990,994.26<\/li>\n
    12. Makassar embarkation point at Rp92,420,640.26<\/li>\n
    13. Lombok embarkation point at Rp91,506,286.26<\/li>\n
    14. Kertajati embarkation point at Rp93,075,795.26<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The Bipih from the PHD and KBIHU, according to the Decree, are allocated for hajj flight costs, accommodation cost, consumption cost, transportation cost, domestic pilgrimage service fees, protection cost, embarkation and debarkation point service fees, immigration service fees, insurances premium, travel documents cost, living cost, domestic and overseas pilgrimage service fees, hajj financial management.<\/p>\n

      The Decree also stipulates the amount of BPIH for 1444 Hijri\/2023 AD sourced from value of benefits which is used to pay the cost difference in BPIH with Bipih is Rp8,090,360,327,213.67, while the amount of BPIH for 1444 Hijri\/2023 AD sourced from value of benefits for deferred regular pilgrims is Rp845,708,000,000.00.<\/p>\n
