(Photo: Jay\/PR)<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo (Jokowi) asked all parties to respect the ongoing legal process involving Minister of Communication and Informatics Johnny G Plate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We must respect the ongoing legal process,&#8221; said the President in response to journalists&#8217; questions, at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, Friday (05\/19), shortly before taking off for a working visit to Japan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The President expressed belief that the Attorney General will work professionally in handling the case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The Attorney General&#8217;s Office will definitely be professional and open to everything related to this case,&#8221; he said, adding that the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD will serve as the Acting Minister of Communication and Informatics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the record, the Investigative Team at the Directorate of Investigation of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes named Johnny G Plate as a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the construction of 4G BTS tower infrastructure and supporting infrastructure for package 1, 2 3, 4, and 5 of BAKTI program of Ministry of Communication and Informatics from 2020 to 2022.
