(Photo by: BPMI of Presidential Secretariat\/Rusman)<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Thursday (07\/20) inspected stunting reduction efforts and several healthcare facilities in Kepahiang General Regional Hospital in Kepahiang regency, Bengkulu province.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI came to Kepahiang General Regional Hospital to firstly ensure that stunting is also being handled at this hospital,\u201d he said in his press statement following the inspection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Jokowi expressed appreciation for the facilities and the number of healthcare workers at the hospital, adding that the number of medical specialists is adequate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI am pleased because Kepahiang Hospital is a type C hospital that has 124 beds, but it already has 13 medical specialists. Great,\u201d he said, adding that the number of specialists is a common problem at other general hospitals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The President also expressed appreciation for the hospital\u2019s hygiene and accreditation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI noticed that the hygiene and accreditation are perfect,\u201d he said while stating that the hospital still require equipment for cataract surgery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThere was a problem about equipment for cataract surgery.
