President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo and First Lady Iriana Jokowi on Monday (07\/24) visited Bululawang market, Malang regency, East Java province.<\/p>\n

“I am visiting a market in Malang regency to check commodity prices. I saw commodity prices here are low,” the President told journalists after the visit.<\/p>\n

The President said that commodities at the Bululawang market were affordable due to the large amount of supply and low inflation rate.<\/p>\n

According to the President, the price of chicken was in the range of Rp 34,000 per kilogram, while the price of shallots are in the range of Rp 26,000 per kilogram.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think this is good because most of commodities come from Malang regency. It means that the inflation is under control, and we have enough supply of goods,\u201d the President stated.<\/p>\n
