President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Tuesday (08\/01) at the Merdeka Palace hosted the Executive of the Islamic Unity Student Association (Hima Persis).<\/p>\n

General Chairperson of the PP Hima Persis Ilham Nur Hidayatullah said that he talked to the President about \u00a0the agenda for Persis’s 7th<\/sup> National Jamboree (Jamnas).<\/p>\n

“We talked about our agenda for the 7th<\/sup> Persis Jamnas, collaboration between students of four Persis branch association: Hima Persis, Himi Persis, IPP, and IPPi Persis. The event will be on 2-6 August, with the opening on 3 August and closing on 6 August,” Ilham said, adding that during the meeting President Jokowi welcomed the planned series of event that will start tomorrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Jokowi welcomed the activities of the students because this involves young generation who will become the future leaders of the community and the nation,\u201d he said, adding that the activities will include MSME expos from Persis members and competition activities ranging from science and technology, sports to the arts.<\/p>\n

In addition, the participants can broaden their horizons by participating in seminars, he added.<\/p>\n
