President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Monday (08\/07) received a courtesy call from Parliament Speakers of Thailand, Malaysia and Laos at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey talked about many issues in ASEAN, particularly regarding ASEAN\u2019s credibility and unity\u201d Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi said after accompanying the President on the courtesy call.<\/p>\n

The President and the Speakers also agree about the importance of centrality in ASEAN in addressing many issues in the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cASEAN has successfully proved itself as a contributor for peace and stability in region for 56 years\u201d Retno Said.<\/p>\n
