The Gade Coffe and Gold\u2019s coffee bar at Media Center of the 43rd ASEAN Summit at Hall B of Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta<\/p><\/div>\n

Three variants of Indonesian arabica coffee by the Gade Coffee and Gold owned by state-owned pawnshop PT Pegadaian will be served for the delegates and journalists at the 43rd<\/sup> ASEAN Summit in Jakarta from September 5 to 7, 2023. The coffee features unique flavor that blends coffee with fruit, spice, and floral notes.<\/p>\n

For the record, the arabica coffee beans originate from Mount Ijen in Banyuwangi regency, East Java province; the village of Bajawa in Ngada regency, East Nusa Tenggara province; and the village of Boalemo in Central Aceh regency, Aceh province. They also have good quality considering that they were grown at altitudes ranging from approximately 1,100 to 1,200 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis qualified coffee will be served at the summit,\u201d PT Pegadaian\u2019s Head of Priority Services Department and The Gade Coffee and Gold Taufan El Savir said in Jakarta on Friday, September 1, 2023.<\/p>\n

Taufan went on to say that based on his experience in preparing coffee at the State Palace, the coffee was often the preferred choice of President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo and his cabinet during formal and informal meetings.<\/p>\n

“One cup of coffee was not enough. Sometimes they drank more than two cups of coffee,” he added.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Taufan said that during the 42nd <\/sup>ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara last year, he also received a lot of appreciation from delegates and journalists who enjoyed the coffee.
