During gala dinner of the 43rd<\/sup> ASEAN Summit, Cordon Guard of the Presidential Security Details (Paspampres) was tasked to welcome the guests of honor at Hutan Kota in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) sports complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (09\/06).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Cordon Guard was assigned to welcome heads of state attending the Summit,\u201d Cordon Guard\u2019s Platoon Commander 2Lt. CPM Sumarjo Sianturi said as quoted from the Presidential Secretariat\u2019s YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

According to him, the squad also welcomed heads of state upon their arrival at the Jakarta Hall Convention Center yesterday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wear red and white [uniform] when we are on duty to provide security for heads of state at the [Presidential] Palace. However, we are now wearing a special black uniform of Cordon Guard at the Summit,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He also stated that the squad had made careful preparations to welcome heads of state at the ASEAN Summit.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did not encounter any problems during the preparation. Everything is safe, trouble-free, and under control,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n
