Vice President Ma\u2019ruf Amin inaugurates Indonesia\u2019s commodities pavilion at the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), Sunday (09\/17), in Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center (NICEC), Nanning, People\u2019s Republic of China. Vice President expressed hope that the pavilion can make Indonesia\u2019s featured products more well-known at the global stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope that this pavilion will make Indonesia\u2019s products more well known by Chinese consumers and it opens market access through direct selling or business-to-business cooperation,\u201d Vice President said.<\/p>\n

Previously, at the same venue, Vice President has also inaugurated City of Charms Pavilion featuring Central Kalimantan\u2019s potentials. Vice President had hope that both pavilions could showcase Indonesia\u2019s export products with good quality.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was informed that the pavilion has a total of 84 booths participated by 49 companies promoting products from consumer goods, food and beverages, fashion and accessories, up to house decoration and furniture,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The pavilion, according to Vice President, described Indonesia\u2019s spirit to keep enhancing market and promoting featured products in the international arena. Vice President also underlined the importance of trade cooperation between Indonesia, China, and ASEAN.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a proof that CAEXPO as a collaboration of trade promotion continues to bring concrete and positive results for Indonesian, ASEAN, and Chinese businesspersons,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Previously, Indonesian Ambassador to People\u2019s Republic of China Djauhari Oratmangun in his report mentioned that the pavilion showcased more than 80 featured products from Indonesia, including from Central Kalimantan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an offline platform for branding Indonesia\u2019s products. Additionally, we also use online platform [through CAEXPO platform] for branding Indonesia\u2019s products,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Indonesia\u2019s commodities pavilion was built in an area of 2,150 square meter and showcasing products, such as food and beverages, fashion accessories and jewelry, furniture and home d\u00e9cor, consumer goods, spa, as well as herbal and beauty.<\/p>\n
