President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Monday (09\/25) hosted members of the Central Board (PP) of the Indonesian Muslim Brotherhood (Parmusi) at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the President asked Parmusi to help create a conducive situation ahead of the 2024 Simultaneous General Election.<\/p>\n

“Mr President said that Parmusi should also help create situations and conditions that are conducive to the election administration in order to welcome the 2024 political year so that the elections can be held safely, peacefully, honestly and fairly on February 14th<\/sup>,” Parmusi General Chairman Usamah Hisyam said.<\/p>\n

According to Usamah, PP Parmusi will organize the Parmusi National Jamboree on September 26-30 at Mount Gede Pangrango, Cianjur Regency, West Java during which the members will pray for the smooth running of the 2024 Simultaneous General Elections.<\/p>\n

“God willing, Parmusi will pray tomorrow. All Islamic preachers throughout Indonesia will pray that this political year can proceed well without any obstacles and that citizens can vote according to their aspirations,” he said.<\/p>\n

Usamah added that Parmusi also invited President Joko Widodo to attend the jamboree, which will be attended by around 500 Parmusi preachers from all over the country.”Thank God, President said earlier that ‘God willing.
