President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (10\/04) officially opened the ‘Inacraft on October 2023’ handicraft products exhibition, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta.<\/p>\n

President Jokowi expressed his appreciation for the organization of the exhibition, which he deemed to be getting better and more exciting.<\/p>\n

“I find that from year to year the Inacraft exhibition is getting better and more exciting, because we all know its brand, as one of the largest handicraft product exhibitions in Southeast Asia,” the President said.<\/p>\n

The President added that Inacraft continues to showcase the best handicraft products that are curated and selected strictly and selectively.<\/p>\n

“I briefly observed this year’s Inacraft, it is indeed a bit different. The ambience looks different. The showcase and products are better,” he said.<\/p>\n

The 2023 Inacraft is participated by crafters who fill 772 booths on an area of 18,700 square meters. The President also expressed hope that the exhibition with a theme of “From Smart Village to Global Market” will be able to generate a large number of transactions.<\/p>\n

“All booths are fully occupied. Due to that fact, we hope that there will be more visitors; there will also be more buyers. And, we hope that the turnover will also be better and bigger,” the President said.<\/p>\n

In addition, the President also praised the organizers of the exhibition for providing a special opportunity for young entrepreneurs and artisans to showcase their creative works.<\/p>\n

“This exhibition now provides a special platform for young people, youthpreneurs, and young artisans, with Gen Z as the target segment, to display their creative works.
