President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Thursday (10\/26) visited Sekip Ujung traditional market, Palembang city, South Sumatra province to check food commodity prices.<\/p>\n

In his statement after the inspection, President Jokowi said that price stability and inflation are in good condition.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe prices are stable, good. Inflation is also 2.28 [percent] which is also very good. It is under control,\u201d said the President.<\/p>\n

He also pointed out that the prices of several food commodities is quite good, one of which is the price of rice.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor rice, the price is Rp54,000 for 5 kilos, which is also under control,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Even though there are commodities that have increased in price, such as chilies, the President said that overall food commodity prices in the area are still well.<\/p>\n
