President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Wednesday (01\/17) inspected the construction of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Training Center in the Nusantara Capital (IKN), North Penajam Paser regency, East Kalimantan province.<\/p>\n

“The progress of the construction has reached 20 percent. We hope the project will be completed in May, and in June it can be used for Training Center of the U-20 National Football Team,” the President said.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, coach of the Indonesian national football team Indra Sjafri said that he was surprised to see the significant development of the training center construction.<\/p>\n

“The training center will facilitate the preparation of our national team, including senior and the female team in the years to come,” Indra Sjafri said, while applauding the Government and the PSSI for developing the training center.<\/p>\n
