President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo inaugurated road sections as part of the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 3 of 2023 on the Acceleration of Regional Roads (IJD) in North Sumatra during his visit to Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra, Thursday (03\/14).<\/p>\n

\u201cThis afternoon, by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim<\/em>, I inaugurated the implementation of the Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads in North Sumatra province,\u201d said the President.<\/p>\n

He revealed that in 2023, the Government has allocated Rp868 billion for the implementation of IJD in North Sumatra.<\/p>\n

“In North Sumatra province, Rp868 billion has been allocated for the construction of 209 kilometers of 30 roads in 18 regencies and cities,” he said.<\/p>\n

With a total budget of Rp868 billion, this development is aimed at repairing the damaged non-national roads, increasing the stability of regional roads, and supporting economic growth centers through increasing access to isolated areas and connectivity with national roads. This is the Government’s effort to overcome various infrastructure problems in the region, while supporting local economic growth.<\/p>\n

This development covers 30 roads spread across various regencies and cities in North Sumatra. These road sections are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Two roads with a length of 14 kilometers cost Rp71.4 billion in Asahan regency;<\/li>\n
  2. Two roads with a length of 13 kilometers cost Rp53.2 billion in Dairi regency;<\/li>\n
  3. Two sections with a length of 8.9 kilometers cost Rp49.3 billion in Deli Serdang regency;<\/li>\n
  4. Five roads with a length of 34.4 kilometers cost of Rp113.1 billion in Karo regency;<\/li>\n
  5. Two roads with a length of 8 kilometers cost Rp70.9 billion in North Labuhan Batu regency;<\/li>\n
  6. One road with a length of 0.5 kilometers costs Rp15 billion in Langkat regency;<\/li>\n
  7. Two roads with a length of 17 kilometers cost Rp95.8 billion in Mandailing Natal regency;<\/li>\n
  8. Two roads with a length of 9.4 kilometers cost Rp50.1 billion in Nias regency;<\/li>\n
  9. One road with a length of 16.6 kilometers costs Rp49.4 billion in South Nias regency;<\/li>\n
  10. Two roads with a length of 21.5 kilometers cost Rp56.1 billion in North Nias regency;<\/li>\n
  11. One road with a length of 13.5 kilometers costs Rp58.5 billion in Pakpak Bharat regency;<\/li>\n
  12. One road with a length of 2.6 kilometers costs Rp14.3 billion in Samosir regency;<\/li>\n
  13. Two road with a length of 10.6 kilometers cost Rp32 billion in Serdang Bedagai regency;<\/li>\n
  14. Two roads with a length of 14 kilometers cost Rp70.6 billion in Simalungun regency.<\/li>\n
  15. One road with a length of 9.2 kilometers costs Rp27.9 billion in Central Tapanuli regency;<\/li>\n
  16. One road with a length of 9.9 kilometers costs Rp16.8 billion in North Tapanuli regency;<\/li>\n
  17. One road with a length of 4.4 kilometers costs Rp16.6 billion in Gunung Sitoli city; And<\/li>\n
  18. One road with a length of 0.9 kilometers costs Rp5.8 billion in Tanjungbalai city.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This project is expected to strengthen regional infrastructure and improve the quality of life of the community by facilitating access to transportation and distribution of goods.<\/p>\n
