President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo witnesses the oath-taking ceremony of Soeharto as Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for Non-Judicial Matters, at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (05\/15).<\/p><\/div>\n

President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Wednesday (05\/15) witnessed the taking oath of Suharto as the new Deputy Chief of the Supreme Court (MA) for Non-Judicial Matters, at the State Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was commenced with the reverberation of the national anthem Indonesia Raya<\/em> followed by the recitation of Presidential Decree Number 54\/P of 2024 on the Honorable Dismissal of Chairperson of Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court and Appointment of Deputy Chief of the Supreme Court for Non-Judicial Matters. The Presidential Decree was read by Deputy to Minister of State Secretary for Apparatuses\u2019 Administration Affairs Nanik Purwanti.<\/p>\n

Afterward, Suharto took the oath of office before the Head of State.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy Allah, I solemnly swear to fulfill the duties of Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for Non-Judicial Matters in the best and fairest way possible, to bear true faith and allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and to execute all laws and regulations in an upright manner according to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia for the sake of the state and the nation,\u201d Suharto recited.<\/p>\n
