Seven members of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) for the 2024-2029 period took oath of office on Wednesday (05\/15) at the State Palace, Jakarta, witnessed by President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo.<\/p>\n

In his statement after taking the oath, the LPSK member Ahmadi said that the LPSK was committed to the best efforts in addressing complex and diverse challenges in protecting witnesses and victims.<\/p>\n

Ahmadi said that public expectation for the LPSK is increasingly high and the number of requests for protection also continues to increase year by year. Responding to the expectation, Ahmadi saw the importance of strengthening the LPSK organizational capacity.<\/p>\n

Ahmadi went on to say that the LPSK would optimize its capacity to support requests for witness and victim protection, and the LPSK would also enhance cooperation with stakeholders in carrying out witness and victim protection.<\/p>\n

“We will develop networks with all stakeholders, including members of parliament, government agencies, media, public organizations, and other stakeholders in carrying out witness and victim protection,” Ahmadi remarked.
