To reinforce the Government\u2019s commitment in ensuring sufficient food for the people, President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Thursday (05\/30) inspected distribution of food assistance program to beneficiaries at the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) Lubuklinggau warehouse in South Sumatra province.<\/p>\n

The President remarked that the food assistance program provided monthly to the beneficiaries from January to May would continue in the following months.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will check the State Budget and announce the continuation in June. I think we can carry on the program. Let us pray for it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, the President directly asked the residents about quality of the rice distributed to them.<\/p>\n

Considering there were no complaints from the public, the President concluded that the distribution of food assistance is well-implemented.<\/p>\n

The decision to continue this program is expected to be announced in mid-June, depending on the condition of the State Budget.<\/p>\n
