President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo Wednesday (06\/05) led the groundbreaking ceremony for the development of state-owned bank BTN office in the Nusantara Capital (IKN) area, North Penajam Paser regency, East Kalimantan province.<\/p>\n

President Jokowi said that banks play a strategic role in supporting economic transformation and development. Thus, BTN is building its office in the IKN area.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, the President said that investing in the IKN is like \u201cbuying\u201d the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why BTN builds its head office or branch office in the IKN area, considering that financing for property investment in the IKN is needed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

President Jokowi also ensured that the air quality index in the IKN would be better.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Compared to other cities], the air quality index in the IKN would be at 20. Vehicles using combustion engines are not allowed, only electric vehicles are allowed. The index could be at 0.
