Distinguished Ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet, Commander of the Indonesia National Defense Forces (TNI), Ad Interim<\/em> Head of Authority of the Nusantara Capital (IKN) and Deputy Head of Autority of the \u00a0IKN,<\/p>\n

Distinguished Governor of East Kalimantan, Regent of North Penajam Paser, President Director, Board of Directors and Management of State-owned Bank BTN,<\/p>\n

Ladies and Gentlemen.<\/p>\n

\n

I have often told you many times that the Nusantara Capital is the future of Indonesia and investing in the IKN is like \u201cbuying\u201d a future. It\u2019s right that the Bank BTN builds its head office or branch office in the IKN area, considering that financing for property investment in the IKN is needed.<\/p>\n

\n

Earlier, I compared the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Jakarta, Singapore, Melbourne, Paris, and IKN. In Jakarta, the figure is 176. While Singapore is 44, Melbourne is 38, and Paris is 38. The standard of good air quality is from 0 to 50. In Jakarta, the figure is far from that standard. I think it’s not just Jakarta but the entire Greater Jakarta area. The figure in IKN hasn\u2019t been measured yet. I\u2019m sure that the air quality index in the IKN would be at 20. Vehicles using combustion engines are not allowed, only electric vehicles are allowed. The index could be at 0. And only the usage of green energy is allowed. This is the concept of the future IKN.<\/p>\n

Once again, I would like to express my gratitude that the development of state-owned bank BTN will complement other state-owned banks that have carried out the groundbreaking ceremony. It\u2019s a bit late for BTN to build its office here, but that\u2019s okay. The most important thing is that the economic transformation from the development of the IKN can be achieved on the target we have set.<\/p>\n
