Namo buddhaya<\/em>,<\/p>\n

Greetings of virtue.<\/p>\n

Distinguished Ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet;
\nDistinguished Chairman of the Central KONI (National Sports Committee), Chairman of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), Chairman of the IOCO (Sports Governing Body), and officials of all sports branch;
\nDistinguished contingent, athletes, coaches, officials, and support staff;
\nDistinguished guests.<\/p>\n

I know that the selection process to become a member of this Olympic delegation is very strict. So, you are the chosen athletes who, once again, were selected through a rigorous process. You are the chosen athletes who will compete in a prestigious world\u2019s event, the Olympics.<\/p>\n

The eyes of the world will be on your performances. The people of Indonesia will also be watching you closely, cheering you on, and placing high hopes on our athletes. Therefore, prepare yourselves well, make physical and mental preparation, and get ready to compete. We hope you will succeed, win, and bag medals.<\/p>\n

I know that in the games, you will face many of the world\u2019s best competitors which will undoubtedly be very challenging; we all know this. But I urge you all to remain optimistic and compete with full spirit. You certainly know what the people of Indonesia desire. They want to see the Red and White flag to be hoisted at the Olympics, hear the national anthem Indonesia Raya to be played at the Olympics, and see you bring home medals.<\/p>\n

Once again, good luck on your competitions, make a good name for your country before the international community. And, by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim<\/em>, this afternoon I officially send off the Indonesian Team to the 33rd<\/sup> Olympic Games 2024 in Paris.<\/p>\n
