On the commemoration of the 40th<\/sup> National Children’s Day with the theme \u201cProtected Children, Advanced Indonesia,\u201d Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung reaffirmed the Government\u2019s commitment to providing maximum protection for Indonesian children as they represent the country\u2019s hope and future.<\/p>\n

\u201cChildren are the beacon of hope and reflection of the noble aspirations of the Indonesian nation,\u201d Pramono said in his remarks on National Children’s Day, which falls on July 23.<\/p>\n

In his statement, Pramono also highlighted new challenges which arise with technological advancements. He said that in the rapidly evolving digital age, the challenges of child protection are not only in the real world but also in the digital world.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe must be vigilant and provide protection for children using the internet,\u201d he said, while emphasizing the importance of providing digital education and literacy to children from an early age to tackle these challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore, it is crucial for all of us to provide digital education and literacy to children from an early age,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n
