\"\"President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo, Friday (08\/16), issued Presidential Decree Number 26 of 2024 on the National Committee for High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (HLF MSP) and the 2nd<\/sup> \u00a0Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF).<\/p>\n

The National Committee has duties to formulate and stipulate work and budget plans, prepare and organize the forums, monitor and evaluate the forum organization, and compose a report on the organization of HLF MSP and the 2nd<\/sup> IAF, which will take place in Bali on September 1-3, 2024.<\/p>\n

Article 5 of the decree states that the National Committee is led by Directors whose duties are to provide guidance, recommendations, and considerations in organizing HLF MSP and the 2nd<\/sup> IAF. The Directors consist of the Indonesian President, Indonesian Vice President, and Coordinating Ministers.<\/p>\n

The National Committee also consists of Chairpersons, Division Persons in Charge, and Secretariat.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe position of Chairpersons of HLF MSP and the 2nd<\/sup> IAF are shared by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of National Development Planning\/Head of the National Development Planning Agency,\u201d it says in Article 6.<\/p>\n

The Chairpersons are responsible for coordinating the preparation and organization of the two forums, coordinating the duty performance of Division Persons in Charge, and reporting the forum organization to Directors.<\/p>\n

The Division Persons in Charge of the National Committee for HLF MSP and the 2nd<\/sup> IAF are as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Persons in Charge of Substance Division are helmed by Minister of National Development Planning\/Head of the National Development Planning Agency for HLF MSP and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the 2nd<\/sup> IAF;<\/li>\n
  2. Persons in Charge of Event, Logistics, Health, and Infrastructure Division are helmed by Minister of State Secretary;<\/li>\n
  3. Persons in Charge of Communication and Media Division are helmed by Minister of Communications and Informatics; and<\/li>\n
  4. Persons in Charge of Security Division are helmed by Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Decree further states that in performing their duties, the National Committee can cooperate and\/or coordinate with ministries, non-ministerial Government agencies, regional governments, private companies, and other parties if deemed necessary.<\/p>\n
