Distinguished Ministers, Chairperson of the Indonesian National Olympic Committee (KONI), heads of the national sports federation, athletes, coaches, officials, and the CdM (Chef de Mission);<\/p>\n

Ladies and Gentlemen.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, I would like to extend my highest gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the nation and its people to the athletes who have fought hard at the 2024 Paris Olympics and given extraordinary pride to the nation, state, and its people.<\/p>\n

The success of Veddriq Leonardo, the gold medalist in men\u2019s speed climbing, Rizky Juniansyah, the gold medalist in men\u2019s 73-kilogram weightlifting, and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, the bronze medalist in women\u2019s singles badminton, will raise optimism and ambition for other Indonesian athletes to achieve better results in international events.<\/p>\n

I note that this is not an instant success. Everyone is involved in a long process, from talent identification to long-term and continuous training. The coaches and supporting team are also working hard, and they also have contribution in achieving such results.<\/p>\n

And, as a token of appreciation for such great achievement, the Government has prepared bonus of Rp6 billion for gold medalists, Rp1.65 billion for a bronze medalist, Rp2.750 billion for coaches of gold medalists, and Rp675 million for coaches of a bronze medalist. There is also bonus of Rp250 million for participating athletes.<\/p>\n

Please make the best use of the bonus to motivate, improve your achievements, and bring another glory to your nation and country in the global arena.<\/p>\n

That concludes my remarks on this auspicious occasion.<\/p>\n
