President Prabowo Subianto Thursday (11\/05) inaugurated and took the oath of Vice Chairperson and members of National Economic Council at the State Palace in Jakarta.<\/p>\n

The inauguration was based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 150\/P of 2024 on the Appointment of Vice Chairperson and Members of National Economic Council.<\/p>\n

The inaugurated Vice Chairperson and Members of National Economic Council are as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. Mari Elka Pangestu, as the Vice Chairperson of National Economic Council;<\/li>\n
  2. Muhammad Chatib Basri, as member of National Economic Council;<\/li>\n
  3. Arief Anshory Yusuf, as member of National Economic Council;<\/li>\n
  4. Haryanto Adikoesoemo, as member of National Economic Council;<\/li>\n
  5. Heriyanto Irawan, as member of National Economic Council;<\/li>\n
  6. Septian Hario Seto, as member of National Economic Council;<\/li>\n
  7. Mochammad Firman Hidayat, as member of National Economic Council.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    President Prabowo led the swearing-in ceremony of the Vice Chairperson and Members of National Economic Council.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI do solemnly swear that I will bear allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will execute all laws and regulations in the fairest way possible for the service to the state and the nation. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold professional code of conduct, work to the best of my ability, with a full sense of responsibility,\u201d President Prabowo reads the oath to the aforementioned names.<\/p>\n

    After the inauguration ceremony, the Vice Chairperson of National Economic Council Mari Elka Pangestu stated that National Economic Council has tasks to give suggestions and recommendation to the President on strategic issues and priority programs. She added that National Economic Council has prepared to report some issues to President Prabowo.<\/p>\n

    \u201cPolicy making, technical function, and operational tasks will be the responsibility of each Ministry\/Institution. Our task is to provide suggestions and recommendations to the President,\u201d Mari Elka said.<\/p>\n

    The inauguration ceremony concluded with President Prabowo Subianto and the Vice President Gibran Rakabuming congratulated the inaugurated Vice Chairman and members of National Economic Council, followed by the invitees.
