President Prabowo Subianto has recommended a two-state solution to resolve the Palestinian conflict.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still recommend the two-state solution. Actually, they also agree,\u201d said President Subianto after meeting with Secretary of Defense of the United States\u00a0Lloyd Austin on Wednesday (11\/13) in Washington DC, United States.<\/p>\n

The President expressed hope for a ceasefire soon to create more stable peace in the region. \u201cWe are working on it. We hope to reach a ceasefire soon,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Regarding the South China Sea issue, President Subianto emphasized Indonesia\u2019s stance on maintaining national sovereignty while prioritizing cooperation with all parties. \u201cWe respect all powers, but we will also continue to defend our sovereignty,\u201d he emphasized, adding that collaboration and cooperation should be prioritized over confrontation or conflict.<\/p>\n

According to him, this can be achieved by building trust and mutual respect among the involved countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that collaboration and cooperation is always better than confrontation or conflict. Of course, this requires effort; it won\u2019t happen on its own.
