The atmosphere was festive and full of enthusiasm as the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, arrived at the Police Academy (Akpol) in Semarang, Central Java province, on Wednesday (12\/11). President Prabowo’s visit was to attend the opening of the 2024 Regional Police Unit Chiefs’ Assembly (Kasatwil), an event enriched with Akpol’s unique and meaningful traditions.<\/p>\n

President Prabowo arrived at the Main Gate of Tanggon Kosala, Akpol, where he was welcomed by the Chief of Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), General Agus Subiyanto. A drum band performance by Akpol cadets accompanied President Prabowo\u2019s passage through the honor guard.<\/p>\n

Following this, President Prabowo boarded a Maung tactical vehicle to the Cendrawasih Auditorium in Graha Cendekia. Along the route, he was welcomed by members of the TNI and Polri, students, and local residents who lined the streets enthusiastically singing patriotic songs.<\/p>\n

Upon arriving at the auditorium, President Prabowo was presented with a traditional dance performance. The national anthem, Indonesia Raya, resonated throughout the venue, marking the formal opening of the event led directly by Kapolri General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. President Prabowo then delivered his directives to the attending regional police chiefs from across the country.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, President Prabowo expressed his gratitude for the invitation extended by Kapolri and his team. He also commended the works of the police force nationwide.<\/p>\n

“It is indeed an honor and auspicious opportunity for me to meet with all the leaders of this republic. I extend my gratitude to all of you, Kapolri, and the entire police force, for your outstanding service,” said President Prabowo.<\/p>\n

This event served as a strategic moment for the National Police to strengthen their commitment to maintaining national security and stability.
