In a bid to address issues that harm the country and hinder national development, President Prabowo Subianto Monday (01\/13) had a closed-door meeting on corruption eradication and unauthorized permits with the Attorney General and Attorney General Assistants at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

In that meeting, President Prabowo affirmed his commitment to strengthen law enforcement particularly to eradicate corruption on permit granting process. He underscored that unauthorized permits are one of the loopholes that are often exploited for personal or certain group interests, leading to state losses.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the President also ordered the Attorney General\u2019s Office to speed up investigation process on unauthorized permit cases. He said that strengthening supervision system in government institutions is crucial to ensure transparent permit granting process and its compliance with the applicable regulations.<\/p>\n
