President Prabowo Subianto gave instructions in his remarks during National Conference of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) held at The Ritz-Carlton hotel, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, on Thursday (11\/16) following the inauguration of Anindya Novyan Bakrie as Chairperson of Indonesian KADIN and M. Arsjad Rasjid P.M. as Chairperson of Indonesian KADIN\u2019s Advisory Board for the 2024-2029 term.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to KADIN for successfully holding the conference that emphasized the significance of unity amidst challenging global dynamics. The Head of State firmly stated that unity is necessarily needed by Indonesia to face geopolitical, geoeconomic, and global geostrategic competitions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have said many times on many occasions that amidst geopolitical, geoeconomic, and global geostrategic dynamics, the competitions among economic blocs, among superpowers are becoming increasingly fierce. Being in the competitions requires all nation\u2019s elements to be more cautious, especially for nations such as Indonesia,\u201d President Prabowo said.<\/p>\n

President Prabowo also reminded the audience of the importance of collaboration and unity among Indonesian businesspeople in the effort to boost the nation\u2019s welfare. \u201cCompetition is good, but not for shutting down each other\u2019s business. Let us compete for the people\u2019s welfare. People need welfare, and businesspeople lead the way,\u201d President Prabowo remarked.<\/p>\n

President Prabowo also stressed the importance of strengthened human resources to be excellent and with integrity as they are the main foundation of the nation\u2019s advance. Furthermore, the President called on the businesspeople to support the Government\u2019s major agenda, including boosting investment and encouraging innovation in various sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need a dynamic KADIN, bold, innovative, cooperative, and Indonesia-incorporated businesspeople,\u201d the President stated.<\/p>\n

He also affirmed that all the Government policies are dedicated to the importance of the Indonesian nation and people. President Prabowo and all his cabinet are committed to implementing the policies at its best.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo other importance, no other orientations, because it is for the importance of the nation, the importance of the state, the importance of the people. We have no doubts, we will carry it out with all our power and resources,\u201d the President remarked.
