All children in Indonesia will have access to free nutritious meals by the end of 2025, President Prabowo Subianto has said.<\/p>\n

The President made the statement following the inauguration of an electricity project taking place in 18 provinces at Jatigede Hydropower Generator Zone in Sumedang regency, West Java province, on Monday (01\/20).<\/p>\n

\u201cNutritious meals are logistically difficult to be provided immediately to all people. For that reason, I, Prabowo Subanto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, apologize to all parents and to all children who have not received them. However, I am certain that in 2025, by the end of 2025, all Indonesian children will receive nutritious meals,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Head of State pointed out that obstacles in distributing free nutritious meals were not only logistics but also administration and fund management, which is crucial to preventing embezzlement, adding that the Government has continued to do the best for the people.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe process of securing funds to avoid embezzlement is a process that we must carry out, and it requires time. Nevertheless, I insisted that the best and fastest measure is taken so that every one of our children can benefit from it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

President Prabowo reiterated that the free nutritious meal program is not an easy project, but he made reassurance that the budget is available.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a huge project. It is not easy. The logistics are difficult. However, I assure you that we have the budget. I assure you that we have the budget to provide food for all children in Indonesia. It is alright if some do not need it. The food can be given to those who do,\u201d he remarked.
