Continuity of the government programs is the key to the success of national development, according to President Prabowo Subianto.<\/p>\n

The President delivered the statement during the Plenary Cabinet Meeting on Wednesday (01\/22) at the Cabinet Meeting Room, Presidential Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n

The President also expressed his appreciation for the contributions of previous administrations in building a strong foundation for the nation’s progress.<\/p>\n

“I must say that this is the result of the hard work of previous governments, our governments. So let us always respect all parties, all those who have worked hard, our predecessors,” he stated.<\/p>\n

The President also said that nation-building is not a short-term endeavor. According to the President, the success of national development, such as the newly inaugurated national electricity strategic project, is inseparable from the long journey of development that began under previous administrations.<\/p>\n

“We have reached this point after a long journey. Building a nation is not a one-year, five-year, or ten-year endeavor. It takes decades,” the President stated.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, the President also urged government officials to continue the long journey of the nation-building, reiterating that government continuity is a crucial element in national governance that will lead Indonesia to achieve its great aspiration.<\/p>\n
