President Prabowo Subianto’s arrival in New Delhi, India, on Thursday January (01\/23), was met with enthusiastic reception from Indian students studying at various universities in the city.<\/p>\n

Sonia, an Indonesian student at Delhi University, shared her joy after meeting President Subianto in person.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were so excited to wait for Mr. Prabowo\u2019s arrival, and we didn\u2019t expect him to be so friendly, coming to greet each of us individually,\u201d Sonia said with a smile.<\/p>\n

Sonia also expressed her hope that President Subianto would create opportunities for dialogue with Indonesian students in India.<\/p>\n

She also mentioned that the students have various aspirations they wish to share with the Head of State.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe we could be given an opportunity to talk and engage in a discussion with Mr. Prabowo. We want to let him know that there are many Indonesian students in India, and perhaps some of us could share ideas with him,\u201d Sonia added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, three students from Bali\u2014Esti, Erna, and Ayu\u2014shared their impressions after meeting the President. Esti, currently enrolled in a managerial training program in New Delhi, expressed her excitement about this long-awaited moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe three of us have been eagerly anticipating the President\u2019s arrival. In fact, we\u2019ve wanted to meet him for quite some time,\u201d Esti said.<\/p>\n

Erna and Ayu, who are studying Sanskrit in New Delhi, expressed their hopes that President Subianto\u2019s visit would further strengthen relations between Indonesia and India. They also shared their aspiration for Indonesia to establish a university offering a Sanskrit language department.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis probably can be conveyed to the President, so he can help establish a Sanskrit University, as Sanskrit is part of Indonesia’s linguistic heritage,\u201d said Erna.<\/p>\n

Echoing a similar sentiment, Rajendra, Marvell, Sherry, and Faisal shared their pride in meeting the President in person. They also expressed hope that President Subianto’s visit to India would positively impact the relationship between the two nations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re very happy. Meeting him directly was an extraordinary experience. His aura was so authoritative. It was amazing to see him in person and hear his voice,\u201d said Faisal.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe certainly hope that all the planned events, which have been carefully prepared, proceed smoothly. We also hope the President feels comfortable during his stay in New Delhi,\u201d added Sherry.<\/p>\n
